World Naked Bike Ride Australia 2010
Peacefully expose the vulnerability of cyclists, humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression, consumerism and non-renewable energy.

At least 7 Australian towns and cities will participate in the next southern hemisphere leg of the World Naked Bike Ride in March 2010. More cities may be added to the list if volunteers are found to organise the ride in new towns and cities. The official southern hemisphere ride date is Saturday 13 March 2010.
The dates and locations are:
- Saturday 6 March 2010: Nimbin
- Sunday 7 March 2010: Byron Bay
- Saturday 13 March 2010: Sydney and Adelaide
- Sunday 14 March 2010: Newcastle
- Sunday 21 March 2010: Canberra and Melbourne
Ballarat has a WNBR Organiser who has volunteered in late 2009. They plan to hold the first WNBR in Ballarat in 2011 to do justice to the planning, organisation and pubicity.
Other Australian cities and towns could have a WNBRide in 2010 althought the practicality of beginning organising a successful ride from scratch after the 1st of February 2010 is very slim and not recommended. Please refer to the Organizing a ride in Australia for more information about how to volunteer as an Organiser for your city or town if it is not listed above.

History
Australia has participated in the World Naked Bike Ride since 2004. Check local ride location pages for further information.
Future
Organisers are planning rides for several cities in Australia. All the cities with media contacts have future rides planned. Where rides have not occurred or not occurred in the last 12 months, it is often the case that there is no one who has volunteered to organise the next ride in that location. People interested in participating or organising a WNBR in Australia should join the discussion group appropriate to their location (or the WNBR Australia Yahoo! group if none of the existing discussion groups are appropriate), try to make contact with others with similar views and demonstrate some initiative. It will happen if you help make it happen! Please refer to the Organizing a ride in Australia page for more information about starting or restarting a ride.
Publicity: flyers, posters, images etc
These are the current flyer, poster and BIG POSTER to be used for the WNBR Australia 2010 to help promote participation. Please print these and stick them up where people will see them. Why not colour one in and stick it to your refrigerator?
