List of rides > UK > Canterbury
There is growing support for a Canterbury ride, and we're planning our first one in June 2013! People are now spoilt for choice of southern UK rides — it won't be long before Canterbury joins cities including Bristol, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, and London. We're also hopeful for new rides emerging in Totnes, Oxford, and Cambridge.

Canterbury World Naked Bike Ride
We're just getting this wikipage set up with info, so if you have questions or want to simply register your interest in participating in the ride, visit World Naked Bike Ride and register your interest via registrations section (if you can't find Canterbury yet, try registering via Southampton but give a note about your interest in Canterbury).
- It looks like the 2013 Brighton ride will be on Sunday 9 June 2013, 12 noon – 4pm.
- That would normally mean the London ride will be the day before so we can now get an idea for the Canterbury ride as well.
- We will try and plan the Canterbury ride the weekend after on Saturday 15 or Sunday 16 June, so the rides don't clash and as the Canterbury ride will be after the Brighton / London rides many people will be in the mood for another.
Route
The route may be announced beforehand, otherwise, simply turn up at the assembly point for details.
Bike hire
Bikes can be hired from several places in Canterbury, but we'll try to list some recommended hire locations shortly.

The ride planning currently takes place on the WNBR UK Yahoo! group. When there is sufficient interest, we'll probably put together a dedicated Canturbury WNBR list.

- answers people's questions with care and consideration
- keeps track of who is doing what, and how far through things people are
- deals with problems and follow the discussions at the national level
- provides email updates to let people know what's going on
- points out where and when help is needed
- acts as a contact point for general enquiries (email and sometimes mobile phone)
- maintains contact information (and keeps it secure)
Additional responsibilities that the coordinator choose to take on:
- arrange meetings, compile agendas, provide minutes
- ensure that the collective remains non-hierarchical but organised
- moderate an email list for Canterbury ride planning
