16the March. Put it in your diary. Meet at OTE at 7.30am and disrobe as you dare.
Head to Sleepy Hollow Gazebo to remove more clothing if u like. Well done to those that manage to organise Emma Hack or other suitably skilled body painters.
We will head on up to Throwing Copper and along Blazing Saddles to Bald Hill lookout for a group Pic (artfully done to preserve dignity as required) and then down the other side into Hidden Valley to Big Rhua back down Bear Pit to Weaving Camels and back to our clothes and normal lives.. coffee at OTE afterwards.

This was the colour in flyer/poster to be used for the WNBR Melrose 2011 to help promote participation.
Ride Report
The Ride Plan
Meet at Over The Edge, 6 Stuart St Melrose at 7.30am on Saturday the 19th of March 2011 and disrobe as you dare. Head to Sleepy Hollow Gazebo to remove more clothing of u like. Buzz along a path up FFFT and up on to Throwing Copper and along Blazing Saddles to Bald Hill lookout for a group Pic (artfully done to preserve dignity as required) and then down the other side into Hidden Valley to Big Rhua back down Bear Pit to Weaving Camels and back to our clothes and normal lives.. coffee at OTE afterwards. This is an international event and the Adelaide event is on the 12th March which clashes with WOMAD so we are on the following Saturday.
What Happened
The Local Organiser anticipated that they could not make it to the ride so delegated the on-the-day leadership of the ride to another person who did not arrive at the meeting place. Some riders turned up and waited for a while but no one was there to lead the ride so they went home in dribs and drabs. The ride did not happen and there are no photos.

Melrose held its first ride in 2010 with 3 fully naked participants. Not a big turnout.. but a beautiful day and very liberating! Bound to be more next year after Adelaide's pitiful performance. The video on Rich's helmet cam was interesting too..

Future
In 2010 Over The Edge Sports volunteered to organise the WNBR that occurred on 13 Mar 2010 in Melrose. Over The Edge Sports will organise the 2011 WNBR too. Any offers to help with this task can be directed to Over The Edge Sports (the Organisers).
