Saturday 12 March 2011 is World Naked Bike Riding Day (WNBR)!
WNBR is a great way in which we can peacefully expose the vulnerability of cyclists, humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression, consumerism and non-renewable energy.
Please join us for a ride from Roma Street Parklands to the Albion Peace Centre, where we shall then celebrate the successful ride at the wonderful Green Earth Day community event.

We will be meeting in the Roma Street Parklands, near the ampitheatre (look for the bikes) at 11am to prepare for a 12pm departure. Please bring along body paint to decorate your bodies.
The WNBR is a clothing optional event, so you don't have to be naked. You can wear as little or as much clothing as you feel comfortable. You MUST, however, wear a helmet. Please wear clothing to Roma Street Parklands, and carry them with you and put back on clothing when we get to Albion Peace Centre. Feel free to express your yourself (see the WNBR mission statement) with slogans, flags, body painting, even songs.

"We face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians plus all the negative effects of oil, cars, war, consumerism and non-renewable energy."
