The second World Naked Bike Ride in Brighton & Hove will take place in the morning of Saturday 9 June 2007. Over 160 riders took part in 2006, and more are expected this year. The ride will allow people to participate in both the Brighton & Hove ride and the afternoon London ride if they travel by train.
The ride also celebrates Brighton's status as a Cycle Demonstration Town.
If you're interested in riding or getting involved, please join the WNBR Brighton & Hove Yahoo! group.
STOP PRESS! Negotiations with Sussex Police have resulted in the Brighton & Hove WNBR being treated no differently from other rides in the UK. The dress code for the ride is now literally as bare as you dare! Whether you want to go fully naked, fully clothed or somewhere in between is entirely up to you. The ride was censored in 2006 so this is a significant development. The recent Argus article about police trying to prevent the ride from taking place with nudity is no longer applicable, as we have successfully resolved this apparent impasse.

History
2006
160-200 cyclists (and one skateboarder) took part in Brighton & Hove's first ride, on a blazing hot day! Chief Superintendent Jeremy Paine ruled against the exposure of "rude bits" (ie: genitals), but Sussex Police were friendly and helpful in facilitating the ride.

2004
Not far from Brighton, on 12 June 2004, two riders took part in a naked bike ride in the Ashdown Forest.
