I am a commuter cyclist in the San Diego area. I have ridden in 4 WNBR rides and have organized 2. Promoting bicyclist awareness is very important to me. I m originally from Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley and starting bike commuting in High School. From there I went to Washington where I continued biking to and fro. To say one is an environmentalist is one thing, but it is what one practices that actually speaks loudest. I love to ride and have gotten others to bike commute as well. Sometimes people ask why we have to be naked, why can't we just paint our faces green or something? This ride is about vulnerability, visibility, promoting good health practices, and king what is best for the planet we live on. There are a few ways to express all of the above, but the best one is to be naked or creatively naked, or just creative.
