L’indécence, c’est l’essence ! De l'Aragon (communauté autonome espagnol) où à Saragosse la première ‛ciclonudista’ était en vélo en juin 2001 ; depuis 2004 la ‛Coordinadora de Colectivos Ciclonudistas’ appelle à des manifestations cyclo‐nudistes dans des villes du monde entier en juin :
Justice dans les rues, voilà ce que nous demandons avec conviction et sérieux, mais aussi avec sympathie, en passant un bon moment. Les voitures nous imposent leur loi: vitesse, autorité, mauvaise humeur et violence. Pour cela, en nous déplaçant à bicyclette chaque jour en ville, nous transformons notre mobilité en acte de désobéissance quotidienne. Si en plus, nous manifestons à bicyclette et nus, notre désobéissance devient une protestation exemplaire. |
Benzine is de boosdoener! Vanuit de Spaanse autonome gemeenschap Aragón waar te Zaragoza in juni 2001 de eerste ‛ciclonudista’ gereden werd, roept de ‛Coordinadora de Colectivos Ciclonudistas’ sinds 2004 op tot naaktfietsmanifestaties tijdens de maand juni in wereldsteden:
Gerechtigheid op straat, dat is wat we eisen. We doen dit op een serieuze en sterk overtuigde manier, maar het gaat er ook plezant aan toe. Auto's dringen ons hun regels en wetten op: snelheid, superioriteit, uitlaatgassen en geweld. Daarom rijden we elke dag met onze fiets, om zo onze mobiliteit om te zetten in een daad van ongehoorzaamheid. Als we daarenboven naakt op onze fiets rijden, verandert deze ongehoorzaamheid in een protestactie met voorbeeldfunctie. |
It's oil dependency that's obscene! From Spanish autonomous community Aragón where in June 2001 at Zaragoza the first ‛ciclonudista’ was ridden, since 2004 the Coordinadora de Colectivos Ciclonudistas calls for Naked Bike Rides in the course of June in the world's metropoles:
Justice on the streets, this is what we claim with a strong conviction and in earnest, but cheerfully as well, having a good time. Cars impose their law and order on us: speed, high‐handedness, fumes and violence. That is why when we move day by day on our bikes we transform our mobility into an everyday disobedience act. If, on top of that, we demonstrate naked on our bikes we turn disobedience into an exemplary protest. | ||||
Pourquoi à bicyclette ? La bicyclette et un moyen de transport urbain sérieux et efficace, salutaire, écologique et amusant. C'est un symbole de liberté et un instrument pratique de transformation sociale. Elle ne paye pas d'impôts, ne consomme pas de pétrole, ne collabore pas avec le développement excessif et destructeur ni avec la guerre globale. |
Waarom fietsen? Fietsen is een betrouwbare, ecologische en aangename manier van transport. Het is een voorbeeld, een symbool van vrijheid en een praktisch instrument om de maatschappij om te vormen. Er worden geen belastingen op geheven, het verspilt geen olie, en het bevordert noch de verwoestende vooruitgang noch oorlogen over de hele wereld. |
Why cycling? The bicycle is a reliable, healthy, ecological and amusing means of transport. It is an icon, a symbol of freedom and a practical instrument to transform society. It does not pay taxes, does not waste oil, does neither cooperate with a destroying development nor with global war. | ||||
Pourquoi nus ? Parce que nous nous sentons nues devant le trafic à cause du manque de respect des conducteurs, du manque d'intérêt des gouvernants. Avec la nudité nous montrons la fragilité de nos "carrosseries" (notre propre corps). En plus nous montrons notre corps avec naturel, sans pudeur, en supprimant les tabous par rapport à notre physique, imposés par la mode et l' avarice de l' industrie transnationale textile. En bref, nous affrontons le trafic urbain, le corps nu sur la bicyclette étant la meilleure forme de défendre notre dignité et de vivre la lutte sociale. |
Waarom naakt? Omdat we ons naakt voelen in het verkeer, wegens een gebrek aan respect van de chauffeurs en een gebrek aan interesse van onze leiders. Hierdoor maken we zichtbaar dat onze carrosserie fragiel is. Meer nog, we tonen ons natuurlijke lichaam, zonder schaamte, om op die manier de taboes te doorbreken die worden in de hand gewerkt door de modewereld en de hebzucht van de internationale textielindustrie. |
Why naked? Because we feel we are naked before the traffic owing to the drivers’ lack of respect and the apathy of our rulers. Thus we make it visible that our bodywork is fragile. Moreover, we show our body naturally, not feeling ashamed, toppling taboos regarding our physical appearance which are imposed by fashion and the greediness of the textile transnational industry. | ||||
