You wish to come by train with your bike
- It is prohibited to disembark with a bicycle at Central Station or two other innermost city stations, you need to go to Brussels South or North. But those are at a comfortably short distance on a bike.
- There is a day ticket for any kind of push bike (including tandem or bike with trailer), at 8 euros - or 5 euros one-way.
- The most practical trains are the new double deck vehicles. Normally, trains to Brussels offer room for 6 to 25 bicycles. The smallest spaces can contain only 3 but there are usually several of these in one train. You always need to look for and ask the train conductor to open the door for your bike.
