List of rides > UK > Brighton & Hove
The third World Naked Bike Ride in Brighton & Hove will probably take place in the morning of Saturday 7 June 2008 (to be confirmed). Over 200 riders took part in 2007, 160 in 2006, and more are expected in 2008. As of the 2007 ride, and following negotiations with Sussex Police, full nudity is permitted at the event. People participating in the Brighton & Hove ride will be able to join the London ride which is now scheduled for the following Saturday, i.e. 14 June.
The ride also celebrates Brighton's status as a Cycle Demonstration Town.

Next ride
Date: Saturday 7 June 2008 (to be confirmed)
Time: TBC – probably 10am (ride will set off around 10.30-10.45am)
Location: The Level, Brighton, BN2 3FX
Body decorating workshop: 9am. Please bring body paints
Route: The 2007 route, as in 2006, went via Brighton and Hove, past a number of local attractions (Brighton Pier, The Royal Pavilion, the seafront etc), before finishing at Black Rock naturist beach.

Please download, print and distribute these. The latest designs have been updated following Sussex Police having granted permission for the event:

Two versions. Enlarge to A3 for added impact! Put up in shops (esp. bike shops!) and cafés - A8 mini flyer/business card
Two versions, can be printed back-to-back
Business card size, 16 to an A4 sheet. Attach to bikes etc or hand out like business cards

Get involved!
Ride on the day
Please show your support for this event and its message by riding "as bare as you dare" on the day. If you haven't got a bike, these can be hired from Planet Cycles, next to West Pier (01273 748881).
Spread the word
The more people know about the ride, the more will come. The more people come and ride, the more successful the event will be, and the safer riders will feel.
