Hiring by phone or in person
To hire a bike with a credit card you should phone 020 7928 6838 (between 10am-6pm). It is also possible to hire with cash deposit and cash payment if you prebook in person. Mention that you are hiring a £10 bike for the afternoon of the WNBR.
You will be asked to provide your name and height (or pref bike size). Be sure to let them know that you want the World Naked Bike Ride discounted rate of £10. Your bike will be available for collection from 10.45pm and must be returned by 7pm.
If paying with a card (instead of cash deposit and prepayment) you will also need to provide your billing address, and credit/debit card details.
Hiring the bike using the online forms
Read this info carefully, and try to keep the next few paragraphs available for reference as you use the online booking form.
Go to the website page for secure online bookings
For the online booking form click here. The form is fairly straight-forward. You will fill in details on three secure webpages, and then you will be taken to a secure page for filling in your credit card details.
Instructions for the first page (Bike Hire Booking)
VERY IMPORTANT - The following details must be filled in as shown below or you won't get the discounted hire rate of £10 for the day.
- For the Start of hire enter the date "14 June 2008".
- For the Days of Hire enter 16 even though you will only be hiring the bike for the afternoon (this helps you to get the correct price).
- For I am an agent select "WNBR"
The second page is called Quick Estimate
There are restrictions on the type of bike you can choose. The company will try to give you the bike type you choose, but the WNBR discount hire terms are simply that you will be allocated a bike that will fit you (if possible in the style you choose).
- On this page, you are asked which type of bike you prefer. You must choose from Mountain, Hybrid or Child's bike (road bikes are not available at the WNBR discount rate of £10).
- To fit the bike correctly, you will need to state your height in Meters, so you can use this handy site to help with any conversion you need.
- Note, the cost of hiring the bike is £10, but you will also be charged additional costs for any optional accessories you hire.
The third page is the quote page
- Review the quote (the cost of hiring the bike should come to £10.01 with VAT.
- Enter any relevant information, and then click continue.
The final page is Credit details
This is where you enter your credit card information. This site is secure - you can tell because of the padlock in the bottom of your browser window.
