Hiring by phone or in person
To hire a bike with a credit card you should phone 020 7928 6838 (between 10am-6pm). It is also possible to hire with cash deposit and cash payment if you prebook in person. Mention that you are hiring a £10 bike for the afternoon of the WNBR.
You will be asked to provide your name and height (or pref bike size). Be sure to let them know that you want the World Naked Bike Ride discounted rate of £10. Your bike will be available for collection from 1pm and must be returned by 7pm.
If paying with a card (instead of cash deposit and prepayment) you will also need to provide your billing address, and credit/debit card details.
Hiring the bike using the online forms
Read this info carefully, and try to keep the next few paragraphs available for reference as you use the online booking form.
- Go to the website page for secure online bookings here. The form is fairly straight-forward.
- In order to qualify for the discounted bike hire, you have to tick "yes" for the question "Would you like your bike(s) to be delivered?" and then fill in the Delivery Address as follows:
- Hotel/Name = WNBR bike hire for £10
- Address = I will collect bike at London Bicycle Touring Company
- Town = London
- Post code = SE1 9PP
- Telephone = [optional]
- When you get to the next page of the form you will be offered a choice of bike types. You should choose from Mountain, Hybrid or Child's bike. The company will try to give you the bike type you choose, but the hire terms of the WNBR discount are that you will be allocated a bike that will fit (if possible in the style you choose). To fit the bike correctly, you will need to state your height in Meters, so you can use this handy site to help with any conversion you need [2]
- Please ignore any calculated cost - you will not be charged this amount - the shop puts the charges through by hand, and will use your Credit Card details with a £10 price for the bike hire (additional costs will be incurred for accessories). By entering the details as shown above you will be charged the discount price.
