It all started when a little Appleseed was backpacking around New Zealand. She had heard this naked bike ride business and ended up in the exact perfect city at the exact perfect time. Golden Bay March '07 She was completely overwhelmed with excitement and Knew she must bring it back to her hometown, Eugene OR. Eugene is internationally known for anarchists, Merry Pranksters, Hippies, and environmental liberators....yea yea and nike too. how could it not already have a world naked bike ride? many residents even build their own mutant freak bikes! she immediately made like minded friends and together they put on the World Naked Bike Ride of Eugene. it has been running twice a year since March 2008
