I don't care just leave the Lex/Loui pages and sub pages alone... If you have a suggestion please leave it here before just doing it to the Lex/Loui pages(,so I wont be so annoyed with you like I am now...). I have the Lex/Loui pages designed in a very specific way, so that if I die or get disinterested the Lex/Loui ride will hopefully continue leaderless.

Lexington

What seems to be the problem with external links (here) ? - Erik Baas 10:11, 11 May 2011 (PDT)

if you goto lexbike.tk and click on any of the facebook links then there is an intermediary page that just has a small picture of facebook on it. I just don't want people thinking that I'm trying to send them to a virus or something. It's a conflict with facebook and the .tk domain registry and nothing to do with the WNBR Wiki site.
I see... So there's probably nothing I can do about it. But I think this message should not be on the page Lexington, as it will cause more confusion (IMHO). - Erik Baas 15:40, 11 May 2011 (PDT)

Pages and naming conventions

Hi Troy

Great to see all the work you're doing on the wiki. I just wanted to flag up a few conventions to keep things regular across the site:

  • It is more usual, and easier for people to read, to have future date/s listed on the main ride location page, and previous rides info on a '...history' page (eg: Brighton and Brighton history)
  • The List of rides page should include a short list of future and previous ride dates, not a link to your timeline/history
  • Page titles and headlines should be in Sentence case (ie: only the first word and proper names capitalised)
  • To link to an internal wiki page, use double square brackets around a page title — no need for the full URL
  • To show how to write wiki code without it actually being formatted, wrap with HTML PRE tags

I'll make a few of these changes now, but in the mean time I hope that helps!
