Is all the information that is still posted for last year's ride (2009) still valid for this year?

New York Penal Law on "Public lewdness" & "Exposure of a person"

http://www.nac.oshkosh.net/StatesFrames/State_Laws_Frames/New_York_Laws/body_new_york_laws.html

I found the above link for New York Penal Law on "Public lewdness" & "Exposure of a person". I am not an attorney so I can't vouch for the details, but it looks like the worst thing naked bike riding could produce is a "violation" (and sunburn, chafing and dehydration). I don't know what kind of fine is involved, but at least it's not a criminal record.

Interestingly enough I found an article in the New York Times published June 8, 2010 regarding a "no pants subway ride".

http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/04/01/subway-nudity-possibly-o-k-with-everyone/

In this article it states that not only is there no record of any complaints, but that "the police said that there was no law broken ... [because] the definition of “exposure of a person,” a violation under section 245.01 of the state’s penal code, states that the law does not apply to “any person entertaining or performing in a play, exhibition, show or entertainment.”"

So there you have it. All we have to do is entertain. Should not be too hard.
