Is all the information that is still posted for last year's ride (2009) still valid for this year?

New York Penal Law on "Public lewdness" & "Exposure of a person"

http://www.nac.oshkosh.net/StatesFrames/State_Laws_Frames/New_York_Laws/body_new_york_laws.html

I found the above link for New York Penal Law on "Public lewdness" & "Exposure of a person". I am not an attorney so I can't vouch for the details, but it looks like the worst thing naked bike riding could produce is a "violation" (and sunburn, chafing and dehydration). I don't know what kind of fine is involved, but at least it's not a criminal record.

Interestingly enough I found an article in the New York Times published June 8, 2010 regarding a "no pants subway ride".

http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/04/01/subway-nudity-possibly-o-k-with-everyone/

In this article it states that not only is there no record of any complaints, but that "the police said that there was no law broken ... [because] the definition of “exposure of a person,” a violation under section 245.01 of the state’s penal code, states that the law does not apply to “any person entertaining or performing in a play, exhibition, show or entertainment.”"

So there you have it. All we have to do is entertain. Should not be too hard.

You have friends, but for some reason it's incredibly difficult to get you guys some media of your ride...

I have spent the last hour trying to find somewhere to post video and pictures of the kid that got arrested today on 3rd Ave in NYC... You really should open a media drop box. It would be the smart thing to do.

Also, open your FB page to media uploads. I will return shortly with a youtube link.

Work smarter.
