The Global Ride History page is designed to help cleanup the global 'List of rides' page.

Archive a Ride

If a ride should no longer appear active:

1.)

  • Include a Quick Link after the GRH: under the country the ride appears in.


Example:

Argentina

GRH: Buenos Aires:[Quick Link]:



2.)

  • Cut and Paste Lapsed Ride's entry from the 'List of rides' page to the GRH page, and adjust the 'Ride Status Tab' accordingly.
  • Committed to ride
  • Assumed to repeat
  • New ride planned
  • Kickstart this ride


3.)

  • add this message to the beginning of every page being archived:

This page has been Archived please visit the Talk:Global Ride History if you would like to start or restart this Ride.

Unarchive a Ride

If a ride should become reactivated please do the reverse of archiving a ride.

1.)

  • Remove the [Quick Link] from the GRH: under the Country or area the ride happens in.

GRH: Buenos Aires:---->[Quick Link]:<---- Delete

  • Remove the Archived message at the beginning of the Page for the ride you would like to start or restart.
