- 15 June 2009: The story by Pete Hirschfeld, of the Vermont Press Bureau, gets picked up by the AP & as a result--under "Media coverage" below--you can see the Montpelier World Naked Bike Ride mentioned from New Jersey, to Michigan, to California!
- 14 June 2009: A very successful and enjoyable third annual Ride. Forty-two (42) participants ranging from 8 years old to 77! PLEASE SHARE YOUR PHOTOS WITH US.

- 11 June 2009: T-minus 2 DAYS! Don't have a bike? Participate on skates, a skateboard, etc. Or borrow a bike from Freeride!
- 10 June 2009: T-minus 3 DAYS! Bare as you dare! All are welcome.
- 09 June 2009: T-minus 4 DAYS! We will ride RAIN OR SHINE.
- 08 June 2009: T-minus 5 DAYS! Why not bring a friend?
- 07 June 2009: T-minus 6 DAYS! Don't forget to arrive at 1:00pm because the Ride will start right at 2:00.
- 06 June 2009: T-minus 1 WEEK! Still anticipating about 50 riders. See you on June 13th!
- 30 May 2009: T-minus 2 WEEKS...and the riders keep rolling in! This year we will again be synching our Ride's start time with that of the Burlington VT Ride. Both Rides will roll at 2:00pm sharp, so make sure that you get to Freeride (our starting point) in the 1 o'clock hour!! - 13 May 2009: Only a month away, anticipating about 50 riders (with about 1/2 that officially confirmed to date). If you know you're going to ride, please let us know (13june2009@montpeliernakedbikeride.org). Otherwise, we'll see you there: rain or shine!

- 30 January 2009: The Ride's permit is approved! The Montpelier Police Department's Bike Patrol will assist as needed, & parade participants must not violate City ordinances or State law. But the Montpelier Ride is officially set to go on: SATURDAY, JUNE 13. MEET AT 1PM AT 89 BARRE ST, RIDE AT 2PM SHARP!
- 28 January 2009: The World Naked Bike Ride, Montpelier submits a "Parade Permit Application" to the City for June 13th.

Location: Started at Freeride bike co-op and traversed 3-mile loop around downtown
Number of Riders: 42 (40 + 1 inline skater + 1 skateboarder)
Duration: About 30 minutes
Weather: 74 degrees & partly cloudy
Reception: 100% positive! Many crowded street corners, a few hundred spectators, & lots of cheering. A peaceful, mellow, & successful ride. We'll be back in 2010...
2008
Date: Saturday 7 June 2008
Time: Gathered at 1pm, Rode at 2pm
Location: Started at Freeride bike co-op and traversed 3-mile loop around downtown
Number of Riders: 38 (37 + 1 inline skater)
Duration: About 30 minutes
Weather: Sunny and hot
Reception: Largely positive: hundreds & hundreds of cheering spectators and "amateur photographers" filled the sidewalks of Montpelier. Thanks for your support! Thanks too to the City of Montpelier and to our Montpelier Police Bike Patrol escort for such a successful ride, and we'll see you in 2009!

Weather: Sunny and warm
Reception: Largely positive: lots of thumbs-up, smiles and verbal encouragement. But lots of 9-1-1 calls too :-(
