Ride details

It had been planned that all participants would gather at Town Beach 8am Saturday morning 18th of October, 2008. This would have been the same weekend as the Cable Beach Kite Festival which did not go ahead as anticipated.
Robbo (the Broome Organiser) fell ill and is unable to continue in the role. Without an Organiser, the ride did not happen. Another or other locals could volunteer to help organise WNBRides in Broome in the future. Why not you? The next possible opportunity for a ride to happen in Broome is 13 March 2010.

Organiser

The Robbo (the Broome Organiser) had to quit the role because he fell ill.

History

Broome has yet to have a WNBR.

Future

In June 2008 an Organiser volunteered to help make a WNBR happen in Broome for the weekend of Sat 18 and Sun 19 October 2008. Communication from the Broome Organiser to the WNBR Australian Coordinator last occurred on Saturday the 4th of October 2008 in which he informed that he had fallen ill and the ride had to be cancelled. New organisers are welcome to volunteer. People interested in participating or helping organise a WNBR in Broome should join the discussion group, try to make contact with others with similar views and demonstrate some initiative. It will happen if you help make it happen! Please refer to the Organizing a ride in Australia page for more information about starting or restarting a ride.

Publicity: flyers, posters, images etc

These are the redundant flyer, poster and BIG POSTER that were to be used for the WNBR Broome Bay 2008 to help promote participation.
