The main [[:Category:Southern hemisphere ride locations|Southern Hemisphere]] ride date is Saturday '''10 March 2007'''.

In order to help encourage as many cities as possible to attend this event there will be two primary ride dates for the [[:Category:Northern hemisphere ride locations|Northern Hemisphere]] ride in 2007: '''Saturday 9 June''' and '''Saturday 30 June 2007'''.

The [[Black Rock City]] ride will, as usual, be during the [http://www.burningman.com/ Burning Man] festival in late August.

Since this is an international event with the goal of being as inclusive as possible this website will help promote all WNBR rides regardless of the date a particular country or city chooses to ride on. However, [[:Category:Ride locations|ride locations]] are strongly encouraged to choose dates that are on, or as close as possible to, the agreed dates. This helps builds solidarity and creates a strong media presence.

Rides must also abide by some very simple [[Organizing_a_ride#Requirements|requirements]].

===Warm enough?===
Early June is a little too cold and unpredictable in terms of rainy and windy days for many [[United States|North American]] cities (brrr), except in Miami.

Both [[Ottawa]] and [[Chicago]] got frozen out in 2006. It also normally rains in the early part of June in [[Vancouver]], [[Victoria]] and [[Seattle]].

June 7, 2008? What happened with the second Saturday of June; June 14, 2008? In Ontario, it's a bit warmer by then. Around June 30 is a busy time in Canada with Canada Day celebrations the next day. Yes, WNBR - Toronto was a bit cool for 2006, but we endured.

That is why we will be adding a second ride date on about 30 June ''[2006/2007?]'', or close to then. If you think this date is still not warm enough, or it conflicts with another major event please email me at [mailto:vancouver@worldnakedride.org vancouver@worldnakedride.org]. We would still like to keep all the rides as close together as possible.

If we are going to get all six billion people participating in WNBR we need to accommodate as many cities as possible.

We had about 40 or 50 riders on the Toronto 2004 ride from Grange Park, but had a difference of opinion from two different police divisions, so for the 2005 ride, after a lack of leadership, a meeting place, Coronation Park was chosen. It worked out well, but we weren't able to advertise in sufficient time to draw more riders. We only had 10 riders, but I think we had a great and successful ride.

I'm not able to change the meeting place information above, so on '''Saturday, June 10, 2006''', we'll meet at '''Coronation Park''' in Toronto, on the lakefront side of Lakeshore Blvd, across but east, of the Prince's Gates to the CNE grounds. There is ample $7.00-all-day-metered parking in the park. We'll meet '''near the large Canadian flagpole, about 11:30a.m.'''. At that time, we can meet and greet each other, and eat a personally-prepared picnic lunch, while discussing the forth-coming ride. For the last two rides, we followed up the ride with a social gathering at a local restaurant. Please make sure that you have proper coverup if you intend to join us. Last year, I wore a wrap skirt, a tshirt and shoes.

Update from 2006's ride: We had police escort from 14 division and all went well. The constables, assisted us through difficult intersections and making left turns across traffic. We look forward to an increase in numbers for 2007, and we can always use ladies (clothed or parts naked) for future rides. Come on ladies; surely you too, care about the environment!
