THE BRISBANE WORLD NAKED BIKE RIDE WILL BE BACK IN 2026. 

The Brisbane World Naked Bike Ride will be held at Victoria Park in Fortitude Valley next to the old substation. All riders must assemble there by 11:00am with the ride officially taking off at 12pm going from Gregory Terrace up to Red Rooster on Kelvin Grove Road down to Herston Road and back to starting point again. You must wear a helmet and as it is a clothing optional ride a c-string is the minimal dress code in accordance with willful exposure laws.

We will have face and body painting, as well as a couple of small prize giveaways for the best decorated bike and best body design.

It's an all ages event, and bear in mind that there might be members of the general public taking photos (although we will have an official photographer and videographer on the day).

You must wear a helmet and as it is a clothing optional ride a g-string is the minimal dress code in accordance with willful exposure laws.

Saturday 12th March 2016 is the Brisbane leg of the World Naked Bike Ride. 

The World Naked Bike Ride is a great way in which we can peacefully expose the vulnerability of cyclists, humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression, and consumerism. 

At the end of the ride there will also be some small prizes given out for the best painted body and best decorated bike.

"We face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians plus all the negative effects of oil, cars, war, consumerism and non-renewable energy."

Saturday 5th April 2014 is the Brisbane leg of the World Naked Bike Ride. 

The World Naked Bike Ride is a great way in which we can peacefully expose the vulnerability of cyclists, humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression, consumerism and non-renewable energy. 

Please join us for the ride starting from the bicycle rack outside the New Globe Theatre in Fortitude Valley to the end of Brunswick Street in New Farm and around New Farm Park. 

We will be meeting outside the New Globe Theatre at 10am and commencing the ride at 11am. There will be an after-ride party at one of the local hotels for drinks, and then a bbq dinner party at organizer Dario Western's place in the southside in Bethania from 5pm to 9pm for the Brisbane Naturists group if you wish to join that as well.

The WNBR is a clothing optional event, so you don't have to be naked. You can wear as little or as much clothing as you feel comfortable. You MUST, however, wear a helmet. Because of the 'willful exposure' laws in Queensland, it is illegal for males to ride fully naked. If you do not wish to risk being arrested, you must wear at least a C-string or a G-string. Female may ride fully nude as long as they do not display their vagina outdoors. Feel free to express your yourself (see the WNBR mission statement) with slogans, flags, body painting, even songs. We will have a couple of professional photographers present to photograph the riders as well as some body painters. The general public are also allowed to take photographs and footage of this event if they so desire. There is no registration for this event, everyone is invited. If you do not wish for somebody to photograph you individually, then approach them and let them know.

==Ride details==
Saturday 12 March 2011 is World Naked Bike Riding Day (WNBR)! 

WNBR is a great way in which we can peacefully expose the vulnerability of cyclists, humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression, consumerism and non-renewable energy. 

Please join us for a ride from Roma Street Parklands to the Albion Peace Centre, where we shall then celebrate the successful ride at the wonderful Green Earth Day community event.

We will be meeting in the Roma Street Parklands, near the ampitheatre (look for the bikes) at 11am to prepare for a 12pm departure. Please bring along body paint to decorate your bodies.

The WNBR is a clothing optional event, so you don't have to be naked. You can wear as little or as much clothing as you feel comfortable. You MUST, however, wear a helmet. Please wear clothing to Roma Street Parklands, and carry them with you and put back on clothing when we get to Albion Peace Centre. Feel free to express your yourself (see the WNBR mission statement) with slogans, flags, body painting, even songs. 

WNBR Mission Statement: 
"We face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians plus all the negative effects of oil, cars, war, consumerism and non-renewable energy."
