Commentary about dropping the part of "celebrating the power and individuality of the human body"

Has anybody challenged this? Social nudity is not the same as "celebrating the power and individuality of the human body". That phrase seemed to had a broader scope. Although last year was only our first ride in Mexico, issues about body self acceptance appeared in many of the signs used by the participants, written by their own individual concerns. Body image is a big issue among teenagers, and young adults in our country due to the somewhat contradictoy pressure of a predominantly catholic and conservative society, that still disdains the human body, and an omniprescent media that celebrates perfect bodies and the current stereotype of beauty. The part of "celebrating the power and individuality of the human body" had as big an impact on our ride as the rest of the other messages.
