Hi Daniel. Have you spoken to anyone in Germany about their plans for rides? The locations they've put down are all quite vague (ie: each is in the form "City/Region"). They've also not conformed to the English naming convention used for all other ride locations. For example: "München/Bayern, Bavaria" should be just "Munich (München)" if that's where the ride is. What are your thoughts? - Nsayers 11:51, 27 Mar 2006 (PST)

Daniel, I suggest we rename the Press and media coverage page back to 'Media coverage' – press is one of the many media that now includes TV, radio, internet, and traditional newspapers, magzines etc. --Nsayers 04:30, 15 Jun 2006 (PDT)

:I would love to have one word but I had someone point out to me that the press is not the media nor is it vice versa and the two are distinct and some get uptight about this. Maybe we can ask someone in the press and media? Its not that big of a deal though. I just don't want to sound biased one way or the other. Best, D 17:27, 15 Jun 2006 (PDT)

Hi D. Yes, nice Brussels poster indeed! It's a Lea (and Titom) work, under Creative Commons Deed (by-nc-nd) I think. If needed, I suppose you can contact them at www.bxl.attac.be/spip/article.php3?id_article=468 or www.bxl.attac.be/spip/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=12. Have a nice day and ride! – Jef

Germany rides

Saint Petersburg

Hi again. The naming of Saint Petersberg bothers me. Saint Petersburg, Russia is much more famous than Saint Petersburg, Florida. I think the names should be swapped to "Saint Petersburg" (Russia) and "Saint Petersburg, FL". What do you think? - Nsayers 11:51, 27 Mar 2006 (PST)

Surely press is media?!

Daniel, I suggest we rename the Press and media coverage page back to 'Media coverage' – press is one of the many media that now includes TV, radio, internet, and traditional newspapers, magzines etc. --Nsayers 04:30, 15 Jun 2006 (PDT)

I would love to have one word but I had someone point out to me that the press is not the media nor is it vice versa and the two are distinct and some get uptight about this. Maybe we can ask someone in the press and media? Its not that big of a deal though. I just don't want to sound biased one way or the other. Best, D 17:27, 15 Jun 2006 (PDT)
