World Naked Bike Rides have taken place in London since 2004 - always on the second Saturday of June.

2012

About 800+ people joined the ride on Saturday 9th June. The weather was mostly sunny and warm. The route of the ride went from Hyde Park via Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Parliament, London Eye, Aldwych, St Paul's Cathedral, Holborn, Covent Garden, The Mall, Picadilly and finished at Hyde Park Corner. The ride travelled as a single group under the care of energetic and dedicated marshalls. This successfully prevented fragmentation but delayed the ride such that we finished after 7pm. We also had a feeder ride from West Norwood, with a small group of 12 bikes and 1 scooter.

2011

About 1,000 people took part in the ride on Saturday 11th June. The weather was scattered cloud and cool. The route of the ride went from Hyde Park via Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Parliament, London Eye, Aldwych, St Paul's Cathedral, Holborn, Covent Garden, The Mall, Buckingham Palace and finished at Hyde Park Corner. The ride did become fragmented. Most groups arrived at Wellington Arch by 6:00, and the rain arrived about 30 minutes later.

2010

1000 people took part in the ride on Saturday 12th June. The weather was sunny and warm and there were over 1000 riders. The ride went from Hyde Park to The Tower of London (the non-circular route was due to the cross-rail works being done on Oxford Street/Tottenham Court Road). A pre-ride segment travelled from the near to Heathrow at the village of Sipson to Hyde Park (this segment had 17 riders).

2009

1200 people took part in the ride on Saturday 13th June. It was a nice warm day, with a cool breeze, and the ride went from Hyde Park to Wellington Arch.

2008

1000 people took part.

2007

It was almost impossible to count the 1,000+ riders as they travelled the traditional 6 mile route through London on a beautiful, hazy, hot day. Crowds were highly supportive. This year was the first time The Royal Parks granted the ride official permission to assemble within Hyde Park. The route finished as usual at the Wellington Arch.

2006

Over 700 people took the 2005 route through London on one of the hottest days of the year. Crowds were occasionally drunken (due to a World Cup football match), but mostly supportive.

2005

Approximately 250 people rode for 6 miles (1.5 hours) on the busiest streets of London - the assembly and finish were both at Wellington Arch. The public was astonished, thrilled, and delighted.

2004

Approximately 60 riders rode in Hyde Park for 30 minutes inside Hyde Park. The public who saw us was facinated and several cyclists spontaneously joined the ride.
