The Cork Ride 2011 is on Saturday July 16th.

Once again, this is being organised independently by a collective of cycling activists to happen around the time of the 2011 [www.corkcyclingfestival.com/ Cork Cycling Festival]. The ride will be preceded by a mass body painting jam at which up to fifty volunteer artists will be available for full bodypainting. This will be at a city centre indoors location.

The naked cycle will be on a flat route and should last for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

We will do some photo shoots for those who are happy to take part, at particular points along the route, which will take in well-known Cork city landmarks.

The venue of the body painting work shop, the starting point for the cycle, the photo shoots and the route will be released only to participants, and quite close to the time of the ride, to protect people's privacy. Anybody who wants to join or to volunteer as a steward can register by emailing your name and mobile phone number to myrebelcounty@gmail.com The exact location of the start of the ride will be sent to participants just before the ride begins.

Dublin Ride

Following the success of the 2010 ride in Cork a group is planning a ride for Dublin. A group of Cork cyclists will take part! Details to be posted here as soon as.
