Cork Ride Monday 19 July 2010
Once again, this is being organised independently by a collective of cycling activists to happen around the time of the 2010 Cork Cycling Arts Festival. The ride will start with a body painting party at 5am at a Cork city centre location.
We will start the naked cycle at 5.45am and it should last for approximately one hour.
We will do a photo shoot for those who are happy to take part, at a particular point along the route, which will take in a well known Cork city landmark.
At 6.45am we will return to the city centre where we will have a cup of tea / warm up.
The venue of the body painting work shop, the starting point for the cycle, the photo shoot and the route will be released only to participants, and quite close to the time of the ride, to protect people's privacy. Anybody who wants to join can register by emailing the collective at myrebelcounty@gmail.com
Dublin Ride
Following the success of the 2009 ride in Cork a group is planning a ride for Dublin. A group of Cork cyclists will travel to show them how it's done! Details to be posted here as soon as.
