In 2012, Richard Foley wrote and compiled photographs for the first two editions of The World Naked Bike Ride.

According to the website: "This book visually describes the environmental awareness event, the history of how it started, the people who take part, and the motivations behind this very public demonstration." The foreword was written by Conrad Schmidt.
