There is a local Berkeley [http://www.ci.berkeley.ca.us/bmc/berkeley_municipal_code/Title_13/32/index.html city statute prohibiting public nudity] but the 2009 and 2010 rides were just fine with the few police encountered seeming to only be observing our well-behaved bikers. The same can be said at other Berkeley events involving some nudity, such as the annual [http://www.howberkeleycanyoube.com/ How Berkeley Can You Be?] parade and the recent [[Wikipedia: Berkeley oak grove controversy|"Old Oak" protests]].

There is a local Berkeley city statute prohibiting public nudity but the 2009, 2010 and 2011 rides were just fine with the few police encountered seeming to only be observing our well-behaved bikers. The same can be said at other Berkeley events involving some nudity, such as the annual How Berkeley Can You Be? parade and the recent "Old Oak" protests.
